Ashton Kutcher hasn't exactly been a media darling as of late. In fact, the Two and a Half Men star has gotten some very bad press over the last year, probably because he's been guilty of some pretty bad behavior.
He's been keeping a lower profile recently, but his a reputation continues to precede him loudly in the midst of an expensive divorce that was brought on in part by his widely publicized hot-tub tryst. Now, with his estranged wife Demi Moore recently hospitalized and forwarded on to rehab due to alleged drug abuse and anorexia, Kutcher's every move is being criticized. To some, he's meddlesome and egotistical for thinking that Moore's problems are all about him; to others, he's insensitive and egotistical for partying and living the bachelor high life while Demi is in crisis.
So, in response, Kutcher has struck back at the media... by blocking some of his critics on Twitter.

Do you remember that embarrassing little snafu that occurred when fame-luster Brandi Glanville said the sex during her week-long fling with Gerard Butler was an 11 out of 10 and then Gerard turned around and smacked her where it hurt (the fame bone) when he was all like, who’s Brandi Glanville?
Yeah, that had to smart. Conversely, it was the first time LeAnn Rimes consumed solids in several months after the incident inspired her to go out for a celebratory Tic Tac dinner.
But never one to admit defeat, Brandi followed up by spilling details about the subsequent phone calls and text messages where Gerard owns up to the affair, thus keeping both her name and the hot actor sex in the media cycle and proving that Gerard is full of crap.

Last week I told you about Eddie Frencher, the 23-year-old boyfriend of Tom Cruise’s other daughter, Bella. The pair made their public debut at a birthday party for her brother, Connor, and at the time I wondered whether Eddie had gone through the presumably terrifying experience of meeting his girlfriend’s dad, a scary experience for any young dude, but when “dad” is Tom Cruise, well, what’s scary times a million.

Britney Spears had to get a restraining order barring former manager-turned-scapegoat Sam Lutfi from having any contact with her. Now it might be Lindsay Lohan’s turn. I get that this guy thinks leaching off celebrities while they’re at their lowest points is a good move, but when even Lindsay and her siblings are refusing him, Lutfi’s got to know when to call it a day.
A source told Radar Online that Lutfi has been harassing the Lohan kids. But only via text messages and emails; Lutfi hasn’t been seen lurking in the bushes. Yet.
Nadya Suleman calls octuplets “eight pieces of poop.” Oh, dear.
Nadya Suleman has a new show, but not exactly the TLC/Gosselin deal she has always been eyeing. Octomom has a channel on Ustream, where she streams weekly videos, talking about anything and everything.
Last Sunday’s show was about conception — but after the first frustrating 30 seconds of watching Suleman try to get her camera to work, Nadya thanks viewers for “taking a chance” on her, then devotes her attention to her haters (whom she calls “obsessors” that “hide behind their computer screen”).
I’ve seen profiles of her during the Today show, heard and seen her in interviews with Oprah, Dr. Phil and Dr. Drew, and she’s always struck me as a flake who is more than a little off. But in my first sampling of the OctomomTV channel, the single mother of 14 was surprisingly on. Well-spoken, succinct, and even — dare I say? — eloquent, at times.
The 21-plus minute video was actually not the train wreck I was expecting. Well, until the 19:40 mark when she calls the octuplets “pieces of poop.” Crash!

There’s nothing like a fight between two overprivileged man-children to mess up a good party. Katy Perry and her bad blue hair co-hosted a GiveLove charity event and joked, “I am not going out J.Lo style” as oil heir Brandon Davis and Dole fruit billionaire Justin Murdock went wing tip-to-wing tip.

On Sunday, something very interesting happened at the SAG Awards (the last major red carpet before the Oscars on Feb 26th) — George Clooney didn’t win. Until that moment, the actor, who gave what many are calling a career best performance in The Descendants, was the undisputed front-runner for Oscar gold. He won the Golden Globe, the Critics Choice, the National Film Board and a whole bunch of others, leaving us all to think that the whole George vs. Brad Pitt Oscar rivalry was non-existent or at least of no consequence, given Brad's snowball-in-hell status.
And then it happened — the guy from The Artist won the Best Actor trophy, causing those of us who contemplate such things to wonder if George’s winning streak has peaked and maybe, just maybe, Brad could be the beneficiary of an upset.
