It was quite the upset, Bradley Cooper taking People’s sexy title over Ryan Gosling. Gosling fans had already created a mock cover with SEXIEST MAN ALIVE! stamped on their man, so the controversy surrounding Bradley getting the honour a few weeks back was a bit extreme. Yes, I kind of agree with the Gosling fanatics who believe their man got the shaft, but nothing is less sexy than protesting and picketing the hot factor of two actors.

Cooper was on The Graham Norton Show (thank goodness for BBC Canada and YouTube) and was asked about the backlash over whether he should have been named SMA over Gosling.

I’m starting to think Bradley Cooper is taking his recent Sexiest Man Alive title more seriously than any other role he’s had in his life. I mean, it has to rankle that 99 per cent of the population is calling “Recount!” over Ryan Gosling’s failure to land the cover.

In the past year, Bradley’s been linked to every working actress with a pair of ovaries. I’d list them all here, but I don’t want to exceed my word count before the end of this paragraph.

Anyway, his latest “conquest” is bound to get him a little more press than usual because it involves a scandal! Olivia Wilde’s divorce from her Italian prince husband of eight years was finalized nearly two months ago — and the actress isn’t looking back. Olivia is kind of like Scarlett Johansson Light when it comes to the romance department. Yes, both are beautiful women but when ScarJo is paired up with some random eligible Hollywood dude (the usual: Bradley Cooper, Justin Timberlake, her ex, Ryan Reynolds), I tend to believe it (or, at the very least, a fun, one-night hookup). But when it comes to Olivia, it just screams “publicity stunt!!”

Today is no different. A new man has supposedly caught Olivia’s rep’s eye, and for once it’s not one of the bevy of actors she and Scarlett have reportedly shared. At least I’m pretty sure Johansson has never been linked to Jake Gyllenhaal.
