When you think of Gerard Butler and rehab, the word that immediately springs to mind is “sex.” Well, you know that old adage about assumptions? Let’s just say even the most obvious things are sometimes wrong. Despite a recent interview where Gerry says he had kicked his drinking habit, another vice managed to get a hold of him.
TMZ is reporting that Butler is being treated for substance abuse at the Betty Ford Center.
The actor admits he tried to “drink himself to death” in his early 20s.

Last week, Star magazine reported that Cameron Diaz’s life is falling apart around her. A-Rod has moved on with a lady wrestler a mere four months after they split; her ex of three years, Justin Timberlake, proposed to Jessica Biel, over Christmas, and two of her closest pals, Drew Barrymore and Kate Hudson, are both engaged.
“Cameron realizes she’s getting older,” said the source. “She knows her clock is ticking if she’s going to have children. But with no man in sight, she feels she could end up alone.”
The insider says her 2012 goal is to “find a good man.” But, so far, the only man Diaz is diddling is Diddy, which isn’t a great start to the year.
Now, Star magazine has another story, and is claiming that Cam is trying to make Diddy jealous — by cozying up to Gerard Butler. Oh, dear.

Last summer, Life & Style reported that Brandi Glanville and Gerard Butler engaged in a steamy makeout session, and an eyewitness happened to see the two “getting frisky” before it evolved into a “full-on make-out.” Pfft. Maybe it’s because I don’t get the Twilight phenomena (haven’t seen the movies, nor have I read the books) but I never understood the big deal with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. So when one of the supporting players in the movie franchise has an interview or does something silly in public, I usually scrunch up my nose, wonder aloud, “Who?” and head to IMDB for the answer.
Ashley Greene is the latest Twilight actress to be interviewed — she’s the cover girl for the November issue of Allure — and I now know why I don’t know or care about her. The 24-year-old talks about fame like she’s Angelina Jolie (literally!) or Stewart; but is it just me or is she a tad delusional? Greene is nowhere near the household names that her co-stars are and frankly, before this, I don’t think I would have been able to pick her out of a lineup.
